Summer in Minnesota is full of so many wonderful things! Time spent by the water and in the water. Activities like mowing the lawn, fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
These last few months have challenged all of us in ways we never thought possible. It has made us more resourceful and grateful for our health and our freedoms. Currently, The Woman’s Club kitchen has been offering curbside takeout every Tuesday through Friday.
Moving into July, the kitchen is open for dining Tuesday through Friday in the 410 Oak Grove Dining Room, Clubhouse Loggia and Rooftop Patio.
Our team has been working diligently to offer our Members and guests a clean and safe environment for dining. We will be offering smaller menus that will change as needed to offer new and delicious options that allow us to consciously and effectively reopen. There is no book written or precedent for this kind of reopening, so your thoughtful requests and support of our work will be paramount to our success.
The new menu will feature favorites like the Salmon Salad and Shrimp Cobb Salad. New entrées like the Scallop Baked Walleye or the Vegan Tikka Masala Curry are available, and of course our classic house-ground beef burger with Wisconsin Cheese is on the menu as well. The desserts and soups will change daily, so be sure to ask your server about what’s new!
I also started a Chef Steph Hedrick YouTube channel during the break. So far, I have videos walking you through how to make spring rolls, pickles, crème brûlée, and even how to butcher a chicken!
I look forward to seeing you all and preparing delicious food for The Club. I truly love this kitchen and staff. Thank you for the opportunity to continue to work here and for your support as we move through uncharted waters. Together we will do great things!
